This lesson we mainly focus on filming the intro and the second interview with the obsessed individual about his obsession with the rubix cube, and we also plan on doing some editing with the clips that we have already imported on to the mac.
When going to the media room to edit the documentary I noticed that the person I was working with was not in, which was unfortunate since he had all of the equipment, which meant he had the camera so we could not film the interview with the second obsessed individual about the rubix cube, and he had the memory card which meant we could not import any other clips.
When seeing that I did not have the memory card on me I did expect to still be able to edit what was already imported on to the mac, unfortunately that was not the case since when going on the mac to add on to the timeline full of clips that were already added. Unfortunately when going to the mac it turned out that I actually did need my memory card and when going onto the mac, looking at final cut pro, none of the work that we have previously started was saved on the mac, and I actually needed the memory card.
When being told that it was impossible to add anything to the timeline I spent the whole lesson getting the images that would be used in the documentary and also getting all of the music that was going to be used in the documentary since I thought that I might as well do something in the lesson.
The only thing that we found difficult this lesson is that the person I was working with did not come in and I did not have the memory card so I could not edit anything.
The thing that was good about this lesson was that I managed to get all of the music and images that will be used in the documentary.
Next week we plan on continuing the editing and filming the second interview with the obsessed individual obsessed with a rubix cube.

production log 6
This week we mainly focus on editing all of the shots that we have filmed right now and possibly film our second interview with the second obsessed individual who is obsessed with a rubix cube.
When going to edit the documentary we noticed that the person that we had planned to do an interview with for the second interview with the obsessed individual about the rubix cube was not in so it would not be possible to interview him for the documentary, which was very unfortunate.
Apart from not being able to film the second interview for our documentary we managed to import all of the clips that we filmed of the first interview onto the mac. Importing the clips did not take too long which was continent since it meant that we could go right into editing the documentary. We added some music to make the interview a bit more interesting to watch for the audience, and we also added some pictures to add on to the interview which we thought would help the audience understand what the interviewee was talking about a bit more.
When adding clips to the timeline me and my partner had many suggestions on what we could add, but we were not sure if we could add every idea that we came up with since we thought that we would not be able to fit everything in the time we were told about how long the documentary was supposed to be, but when we found out that some groups went over twenty minutes we thought that we would still be able to include all of the ideas that we came up with, which was convenient.
This week the only thing that we found difficult was the fact that the person who was going to be in the second interview was not in, which was unfortunate. One advantage this week was that everything that was related to the editing went smoothly and there were no problems.
Next week we plan on filming the intro and the skit that we planned on filming, and we plan on doing some more editing on the mac's.

production log 5
this week we both have planned to be focusing on actually doing the filming for the doccumentary and going out to all of the different locations that we chose to film in. Since it is the first day of filming we decided to film only the shots with the first interview with one of the obsessed individual that was obsessed with drawing.
When going to my house to film we managed to film 3 shots but then it turned out that the camera needed charging, so me and the person I was working with had to wait for a while till the camera was fully charged so we could finish filming the rest of the shots that we needed for our documentary.
It took almost 3 hours to finish but we finally managed to film all of the shots that we needed for the first interview of the documentary. When filming we managed to get a lot of good shots and a lot of good filler shots to use in the documentary, but we are not sure if we are going to use all of the filler shots that we filmed, since we filmed a lot of the shots that we needed, and we managed to film a lot of shots that we did not originally plan to shoot, but thought it would be a good idea to include while we were filming.
This week has a lot of advantages and disadvantages, such as I almost left the tripod in the maths room, luckily when we went to retrieve it the maths teacher was still in the room and kept it at his desk, so luckily we managed to be able to film everything that we planned to film.
Next week we plan on editing what we have currently filmed and we plan on filming our next interview with a obsessed individual who is obsessed with a rubix cube.
